We had an amazing stay—easily one of our best Airbnb experiences. The condo is beautifully appointed and has everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing visit. The location is ideal—just a short walk to great restaurants, the beach, and the boardwalk into downtown. The main pool is peaceful and well maintained, and the private soaking pool with sunset views over Playa Madera was a definite highlight. Access is incredibly easy, with street-level entry and an elevator to the pool and beach path—even our 82-year-old mother-in-law had no issues getting around. Luis was a fantastic host—welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond, with great local recommendations. Highly recommend—10/10. We can’t wait to return!

As regular visitors to Zihuatenajo we knew exactly what to expect with our stay at Kau Kan. The morning and evening views over the bay, Madera beach and the city are iconic book ends to each day. The facility is well maintained, fantastic pool, close to several great restaurants and taxi services. Luis was a great host and very attentive to our inquiries.

The condo was perfect. The view was amazing and it had everything you needed for your stay. Emir the local host was always responsive and helpful. Comfortable beds with much needed airconditioning in each bedroom. The location was perfect. You could walk anywhere you wanted from it, or a $3 can ride to anywhere. Also, it’s in a very safe area and is very secure.

Inside - the condo is absolutely amazing and has about everything you need for a great stay. Kitchen is stocked with most things you would need to make a meal. There are plenty of towels and beach towels and beds are comfy. Overall the inside of the condo is exactly what the photos show. Pool and Plunge- the main pool is on floor 1 and is warm and the view can't be beat. Plunge pool was on the cooler side but it was great to read or have coffee on the patio and dunk your feet in. Main pool is the pool of choice. Outside - I loved that the taxis are right out the front door which is so convenient if you want to go anywhere within driving distance. There is a sign that displays approx fare so you know you aren't getting ripped off. All the drivers are pleasant - one man even helped us get pizza delivery! There was fantastic communication from booking to check out. We worked with Luis and he was quick and responsive. Great Stay - we will for sure book and stay again!

Great place to stay. Perfect for walking into town and going to the beach.
